Chief David Trzcianka and Lieutenant Timothy Firich organized this year's sold out event.
"Due to the amount of money it costs to run a volunteer fire department, Baden Borough only provides so much funding. We heavily rely on fund drive donations and other fundraisers," Baker shared.
"It costs a lot to equip every firefighter, and, just like everything else, every year equipment and fire apparatus get more expensive."
The Tool Bash, first held in 2010, is one of three fundraisers the Baden Fire Department organizes each year.
During the morning of the Tool Bash, the department responded to an apartment fire. Written on the department's Facebook page they expressed how they responded with other departments, Ambridge 71, Conway 49 and Rochester RIT from 3:30 am until 11 am. and then returned to Station 47 to set up for the 2015 Tool Bash.
They ended the post with: "All of our members had some part in the day to make it a successful day protecting and serving. If you think you could hang with little or no sleep please apply to your local Department. Thank you for your continued support we love to Serve our Community. .. Station 47."
