“We recognize the importance of exposing our students to as many careers choices as possible," said Shaun Cooke, Junior High School Principal.
The presenters represented a wide range of professions and fields including Google, pilot instructor, SWAT team, photography. TA few presentations were interactive and hands-on and many presenters brought prizes for the students.
"Career education is vital for middle school aged students, as it fosters development of career awareness and preparation for their future" shared Anne Liller, School Counselor at Beaver County Career and Technology Center.
"We have just completed our third year of planning and organizing " shared Genifer Scaletta, Junior High School Counselor "The feedback from the students is positive."
"We would like to extend our appreciation to the presenters for the time they took make this special day happen. Career Day would not be possible without the community-wide support" added Scaletta.
