On Wednesday afternoon an event called Connected Leadership Symposium was put together to help the area's leaders to continue moving the community in a positive direction.
"Over the past few years, I have been purposely watching, supporting, and taking action in our community for our communities. Over that time I have seen who is consistent and resilient and continues to produce for the citizens and visitors for our area" shared Felicia Mycyk, the organizer.
The program was an invite-only event to recognize, connect, and empower the driving people in the area.
"Today was a great day where I met new people that can help me on my mission to energize our community. Thank you for your leadership and motivation to keep us moving forward" shared Terri Mylan, Board member for Ambridge Library, School District, and Ambridge Chamber.
"The event was well organized by Felicia; we brought in the right speakers to engage the audience" shared David Strano, Ambridge Do It Best General Manager and Committee member for the event.
"The event was the faces of the community who keeps the town running. Everyone was asking questions, and all got excited about what the future could be."
Strano added, "We are making a difference by connecting with new leaders and current ones to keep the communities growing together."
