The Ambridge Area High School Drama Club provided comical entertainment and flavorful meals to a packed house this past Friday and Saturday evening at the school.
During the three-course meal, attendees periodically had the opportunity to participate in portions of the show, often helping provide extra laughs, and testing the students' abilities to improvise their performance. During dessert, audience members had the opportunity to quiz performers as they attempted to guess which cast member was the guilty party.
According to Drama Club Sponsor Marie Dewar, the students managed to put the show together in just a month's time.
Proceeds from the event are used to help offset some of the costs associated with the following year's high school musical, an event which draws the participation of nearly all of the Drama Club members.
This was the fourth year the club has staged a murder mystery show.
