She had a vision. Now Christy Wagner-Ibrahim has a building and is moving forward with her decision to start a business on Merchant Street in Ambridge.
Her business will not open for a few months, but Wagner-Ibrahim plans to bring some Egyptian culture to the area.
Items she plans on having in the store include Egyptian furniture, woodwork, mother of pearl items, and art work.
Wagner-Ibrahim said she wanted a place that reminded her a little bit of her hometown.
When asked why she wanted to bring her business to Ambridge, she said "This is home."
Wagner-Ibrahim wants to be a part of the revitalization in the Ambridge business district. She mentioned that with the setback of recent fires, everyone needs to stick together and build.
