Ambridge, Aliquippa, Baden, Cresent Township and Fair Oaks fire departments reported to a house fire on Tuesday afternoon at 273 15th Street.
Acting Fire Chief Robert Gottschalk said an elderly female resident was taken to the hospital to be treated for burns to her hands and smoke inhalation.
Gottschalk said it was a "quick fire knock down " and it originated on the first floor.
The fire is currently under investigation.
