Holiday Sip, Shop, and Sparkle event held by D&T Barber Styling and Taklya Wormsley from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Let's Get 2gether , 598 Merchant Street. Vendors included will have seasonal handmade items and trimming for the holidays.
Paradise Purse Party will have Designer purses raffled off every 15 minutes held at Baden Legion from 1 pm. to 5 p.m.. The event will benefit the Ambridge High School Marching Band trip to Hawaii. A limited number of tickets are available email [email protected] to reserve your ticket. Winner does not need to be present , cost includes lunch.
The Angus family along with the Harmony Commissioners tradition to make Christmas memorable for local families, Project Holiday Dreams, is currently in full swing. Donations are currently being taken to support the effort, which gives toys and food to each family All donations can be dropped off at the Township Building or mailed c/o Project Holiday Dreams, 1053 Norwood Drive, Ambridge.
Upcoming Fundraisers
Black Friday Softball Tournament will be held on November 27th at 10:30 a.m. as Aadan Buck's senior project. The softball games will be at the BYA field. Cost is $5 per pick up player or $50 per team. All proceed benefit BYA and local youth. For additional information please email or call (724) 987-8138
Pet Photos with Santa Fundraiser will be held by Old Economy Historic District Economic Development Corp at Good Intent Trading. A professional photographer will be set up to take pictures of your pet on November 29 at noon until 3 pm. Donation of $10 Call ( 412) 867-9311 for additional information.
The Center for Hope food pantry fundraiser, Holiday Auction, will be held at Ambridge High School Gym on December 5. The luncheon starts at noon and will have music by the Ambridge Steel Drum Band. Attendees will have over 100 baskets to bid on during the live auction. For tickets call (724) 251-4899 no tickets will be sold at the door.
Old Economy will hold their annual Christmas Dinner to kick off the holidays with a candlelit dinner in the historic Feast Hall with a special performance by the Pittsburgh Opera. Reservations can be made for the December 9th dinner by calling Elaine Voss (724) 266-4500 ext 101 Cost $64 for Friends Of Economy Village members and $80 for non-members.
Baden Fire Volunteer Fire Department will hold the annual Tool Bash on January 25 at 2 p.m.. A donation of $25.00 will include dinner until 4 p.m. and free beverages throughout the event. Over $5,000 in prizes will be given out that include a Bosch reciprocating saw, Tanaka gas chain saw, Hitachi twin tank air compressor and more. Tickets can be purchased from any Baden Firefighter.
