Harmony Township Commissioners held a reorganization meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
Glenn J. Angus was re-elected as board president and Paul Kokoski was re-elected vice president. This is the ninth year that both have served in their roles.
The board also recognized newly elected commissioners Bradley Payne and Mike Marticek.
Virginia Finnegan was appointed as the township’s interim manager. Harmony has advertised to hire a full-time office manager.
The board also reappointed Solicitor Richard Start of Damian, Amato & Start; Engineer Frank Lemon of NIRA Engineering; and Paula Winne as township treasurer.
Meetings will continue to be held at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.
Municipal Authority Vacancy
Harmony seeks to fill a vacant seat on the Municipal Authority. Anyone who would like to be considered should submit a letter of interest to Virginia Finnegan, interim manager. Municipal Authority meetings are held on Monday afternoons.
