A Harmony Township elected official was among the Beaver Valley FOP on Saturday, July 11 when the group presented the colors at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
The group featured local officers who are part of the County's Lodge #4 Color Guard, including their bagpiper, Glen Angus, who is chairman of the Harmony Board of Commissioners.
"It was and is an honor for me to be part of the color guard as their bagpipes for the B.C.F.O.P., a great group of officers," Angus said.
"The group practiced hard these last few weeks and it came together perfectly. To march onto PNC Field, especially a St. Louis game, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But hopefully we'll have the chance again."
