Friends of ODBQ decided they did not want ODBQ close down without giving crowd fundraising a try.
"People know James from the restaurant," shared Margie Lease of Baden, "They got to know him there, enjoyed the friendly chats and welcoming atmosphere."
"We fell in love with the food, so we want to help him and his Mom. It benefits the community by keeping him here " added Lease.
After James Odell saw the gofundme page he said "this makes me want to cry."

Odell said he did not want the fundraiser to go on more than 2 months. If by March it does not hit the target amount he is going to have all the money refunded back to the donors.
"If I don't get the money I have to shut down, because I won't have enough money to pay past rent as well as all of the other bills and purchase product."
