The 12th Annual Mr. Ambridge Pageant was staged at the high school tonight. The mostly-tongue-in-cheek performances from eight competitors helped raise $2,558 to benefit Ambridge high school student Tyler Weil, who has been undergoing cancer treatments since last fall.
Senior Dmytri Rakovan was named Mr. Ambridge, while classmate Sean Malatesta earned the runner-up spot. Both gentlemen donated their winnings, totaling $150, to help defray expenses for the Weil family.
Other participants included Jacob Giles, Seth Truskowski, Joey Kalemon, Ryan Kozlowski, Zak Ernst and Ethan Trehar.
