In Photos: On Saturday, September 14th about 100 volunteers helped spruce up the Merchant street in anticipation of the Ambridge Celebration that includes the Streetscape Dedication ribbon ceremony.
Volunteers from various churches and groups under the leadership of the Ambridge Downtown Development Committee cleaned storefronts, swept vestibules, washed windows and did some limited painting.
In a press release from the committee, it mentioned the idea was to do a “give back” to the businesses who have endured the construction of the streetscape and to thank the borough.
