In between wind bursts of winter weather, visitors spent Saturday afternoon going to various Ambridge establishments.
advertisement Baden resident Maggie Tkatch attended the third annual Ambridge Wine and Chocolate Walk with her friend, Cindy Mikush.
"Despite the blustery conditions, it was a great opportunity to check out many of the businesses on Merchant Street in Ambridge," shared Tkatch. "The event was well organized and the hosts were extremely friendly."
"It was a really nice opportunity for Cindy Mikush and I to get together." she added.
According organizers, participants visited various merchants for wine and chocolate then approximately 150 attended the happy hour portion of the event held in the Old Economy Village Visitor’s Center.
"Despite the weather, people had a great time and we want to extend hours for next year," said Kimberly Villella, organizer and owner of Una Bella Beauty and Wellness Studio.
"People cannot get to 35 businesses in a three-hour span."
