The space provides a sense of community, creativity and innovation that expands beyond the traditional classroom setting.”
Junior High students and teachers now will have access to a more functional work and learning space. The new media center provides computer and work stations for up to 22 students, with flexible furniture that can be rearranged to accommodate group sizes and soft furniture to provide comfortable seating and work areas for students.
The room’s 21st- century design reflects modern work environments and encourages cooperative and collaborative learning opportunities for students. Tables designed to act as “white boards” provide a space for students to brainstorm, innovate and explore ideas as they share their thoughts and ideas with the group. Flexible-style seating creates additional comfort and the ability for the students to move without disturbing others.
