What's closed?
All public and private schools, including Ambridge Area School District, Baden Academy and Quigley Catholic.
Laughlin Memorial Library and Baden Public Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 1. Baden Library is also closed Sat., Aug. 30.
All federal, state and municipal offices are closed Monday, as well as post offices and state stores.
What's open?
The Old Economy Park pool will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 and Monday, Sept. 1, weather permitting, before closing for the season.
Old Economy Village in Ambridge will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 1 Tours of the Village leave the Visitor’s Center at 270 Sixteenth Street, Ambridge, PA every hour starting at 10 a.m., with the last tour departing at 3 p.m.
The hours for the remainder of the week of Sept. 1 remain 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The Village will be open on Sunday, Sept. 7 we will be open from noon until 5 p.m. Tours depart every hour on the hour, with the last tour leaving at 3 p.m. The site is closed on Mondays after Labor Day.
