Applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will be accepted through the end of the week.
Additional money may be available if you have an emergency situation and are in jeopardy of losing your heat.
Individuals earning 150 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible for help through LIHEAP. That translates to $17,235 for one person, $23,265 for a family of two, $29,295 for a family of three, $35,325 for a family of four, and $41,355 for a family of five.
