Annual Chanukah Party and Latke Fest

Beth Samuel Jewish Center, 810 Kennedy Drive, is hosting its annual Chanukah Party and Latke Fest featuring music by Klezlectic with Janice Coppola. Plus, enjoy Latke luncheon, crafts, silent auction and ticket raffles.
Santa is Coming to Baden
6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19
Santa will be riding on the Baden Fire Truck from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the neighborhoods. If you would like to donate a canned good for the Baden Food Bank, a vehicle will be behind the fire truck to collect them.
Lunch with Santa
11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20
Baden Memorial Library is hosting Lunch with Santa at 11 a.m. in the Baden Community Room. The event includes lunch, story time with Miss Robin, a craft, music and a picture with Santa. Sign-ups are required by calling 724-869-3960. Donation accepted at the door.

Christmas Party and Meet and Greet
1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23
Ambridge will hold its annual Christmas Party along with a "Meet and Greet" with new borough manager Joe Kauer from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the Ambridge Fire Station. The public is invited to come.

Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus
6 to 8 p.m. Every Friday to Sunday in December, before Christmas
Stop by 217 Maplewood Ave. in Ambridge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mr. And Mrs. Santa Claus will be there, handing out candy canes to all who visit the home to see the light display. Donations are accepted for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
Write Letters to Santa
During business hours in December
The Moonbeam Jar will have a special station set up for children to write a letter to Santa. Mary Holleran, owner, said Santa will answer each letter based upon the information provided and the response will be mailed back to the address provided.
The Santa Letter Writing Center is free and is located at The Moonbeam Jar, 812 Merchant St., Ambridge.
Model Train Show
Every Saturday and Sunday through January
The Ohio Valley Lines Model Railroad and Museum has opened its model railroad display for the annual holiday season.The Ohio Valley Lines Model Railroad Club, located at 1225 Merchant St. in Ambridge, is open noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through the month of January. Cost is $6 for adults and $2 for children.
