Children were in for a sweet treat Saturday when Laughlin Memorial Library started off its summer reading program.
The library held an ice cream party for participants to help celebrate the start of this year's youth summer reading program. In addition to ice cream, the event included photos with robots, live music by Chuck Firkaly and a showing of the Disney movie "Frozen."
