Congratulations to the Ambridge Area School District students who earned prizes and scholarships at the Beaver County Bar Association's celebration of Law Day on May 1st.
Senior Matthew Toplak won a 2015 Mock Trial Scholarship Award for $1,000.
State Street students Brayden Lizak and Allison Baker won 2nd and 3rd place respectively for the Grades K-2 Bookmark Contest.
5th grader, Aniah Bullie, won 2nd place for the Grades 5-6 Poem contest.
Each of the elementary students received a certificate and gift card as prizes. The theme this year was "Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law."
