The music duo called Lights of Day, consists of Chris Lawson and Matt Weir. They are signed with the company 984 Records, who released their first single recently to contemporary Christian Music stations and will have the duo performing throughout the summer at large regional Christian music festivals across the country.
On his bio, Lawson shares that, " I see lots of teenagers and adults in my community falling victim to the messages of sex, drugs and all-things depraved that are flooding mainstream radio and television. Messages that are aimed at shipwrecking faith in Christ and stifling sanctification."
The leader songwriter encourages all to join in singing with him.
"I am just Chris… one, single light. But when we (and believers all over the world) join together in triumphant praise to our faithful King… We are Lights of Day. If you are a worshiper of God Most High, you've just joined the band. Let the noise we make be the sound of light in a world of darkness," he wrote.
The free music ministry will start at 7 p.m. in the main church located at
592 Beaver Road, Ambridge. Prior to the main event, a light dinner meal will be available for purchase from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at New Hope's Holy Ground Cafe.
