AMBRIDGE, Pa. --
Two people were shot and killed by a man who claims he was assaulted outside a gas station in Ambridge, Beaver County, early Friday morning, police said in a criminal complaint.
The deceased, identified as Brandon Everett and Lamar Seymour, were found on the ground behind a black Cadillac in the Sunoco A-Plus parking lot on Merchant Street shortly after 2:30 a.m., police said.

Brandon Lee Richardson, 31, of Ambridge, was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with two counts of criminal homicide, according to a criminal complaint.
"Richardson stated that he had shot the two males after being assaulted. He continued to state 'They jumped me,' 'I never did anything like this.' Officers recovered a firearm from Richardson's person and he was taken into custody," police said in the complaint.
Surveillance video shows Richardson being assaulted by Everett, Seymour, two other men and a woman, then later getting up and going back to his vehicle to get a gun and opening fire, according to the complaint.
"The video depicts Brandon Richardson being assaulted by five individuals, Brandon Everett, Lamar Seymour, Dana Jones, Zachary Berry and Maria Escobedo. Brandon Richardson is apparently struck, kicked, and thrown down to the ground. The assault ends when the parties were approached by a store employee, and the parties separate," the complaint said. "Brandon Richardson then stands up and walks away towards the driver's side of the black Cadillac STS. Brandon Richardson told officers that he obtained a firearm from his vehicle.
