Eleven contestants came to earn the title of "The Valley's Best Chili " and "Best Display" at Vanport Volunteer Fire Department tenth annual Chili Cook Off.
Restaurants, caterers and individuals were eligible to compete to see who makes the best chili and who had the best table display. Winners received trophies and cash prizes for first, second, and third places in both competitions.
Voting was done by the people who attended the function in Vanport.
