Members of the Baden Police Department along with Mayor Samuel Gagliardi met with the community Sheila's Restaurant in Baden.
Visitors enjoyed a free cup of coffee and a conversation with the local law enforcement.
"Building trust in policing is an important part of serving and protecting our town" shared Chief Dave Christner.
Beaver County District Attorney Dave J. Lozier attended the event. " We need young people to have a relationship with the department" shared Lozier.
Lozier added, "Bad events and riots do not happen when the people have a good relationship with the police and the police have a good relationship with the people."
Christner shared "Sharing a cup of coffee in a conversation is a great way for officers to meet our community residents one-on-one to strengthen the bonds of trust officers work hard to establish on a daily basis."
