Located at 656 Duss Ave., the store has a treasure trove of art and collectibles, antiques, jewelry, vintage finds, clothing, furniture, pet clothing and more items to fit any budget.
Bradovich said he chose to open shop in Ambridge, where his mother grew up, because he loves the history of the town, particularly Old Economy Village.
In fact, store manager Frankie Ervin said many of the items in Sweet Pickles Treasures were produced in the Pittsburgh area.
"We just felt that Ambridge has a lot of history down here and we felt to bring history down to the community," she said.
The store is named for his beloved black chihuahua, a rescue dog, and Bradovich said he couldn't ask for a better companion. He has dedicated a special section to dog clothing and products.
"We tried different names and they already had used them," he said. "I kept trying to think of a name, and being that we love Pickles, I said 'lets name it after Pickles."
The grand opening is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12. Regular store hours will be from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the exception of being open until until 6 p.m. on Wednesday and closed on Thursday and Sunday.
