Coming in December a clinic specializing in addiction medicine will be located on the 400 block of Merchant Street.
Five Star Medical mission is to provide quality health care through a secure , peaceful , and judgement free environment to properly address and treat substance abuse.
Owner/partner Linda Alexander shared that " We are relentless in our fight to protect, improve and champion the public health of the community."
In a statement of purpose the owners said that addiction is a mental illness and should be treated as such using medicinal, spiritual and mental alternatives. "We are passionate about increasing awareness and quality care towards clients suffering with substance abuse" added Alexander.
The facility will be designed to put the mind at ease in a relaxing and tranquil environment allowing comfortable and secure doctor and patient interaction without judgement.
