Brian Dupre of Canonsburg introduced himself to the public last week during the regular council meeting.
He studied criminal justice at California University and attended the police academy at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Officer Adam Greco. Adam Greco of Ambridge was hired July 8 as a part-time officer.
Greco graduated from Ambridge Area High School and received his bachelor's degree in criminology from IUP. He attended the Allegheny County Police Training Academy.
The department now has eight full-time officers, including the police chief, and 14 part-time officers.
