The new program is offered via www.github.com and the specific Ambridge page is: https://github.com/Ambridge/Ambridge
Github adds an additional layer of transparency to the local governance and enables residents and business owners to play a role in advancing the goal to solve or close-out an issue.
There is no cost to use Github and, according to the borough, a number of local elected officials and borough staff members are participating in the Github service.
The borough will actively respond to Github complaints and issues, and plays an active role advancing, while helping to shed light to the procedures of local government, aiming to solve issues within Ambridge.
The borough is encouraging citizens to create a Github account and participate in the program.
