“Nationality Days was created and sponsored by the chamber for the last 50 years. Over the years, I believe we can all agree there have been many changes in Ambridge. There are many factors that have evolved over time that have directly effected Nationality Day,” shared Kim Villella on a Facebook group called Ambridge Connection Community Board.
“Sadly, the chamber does not have the resources available to sustain this event any longer or the ability to correct the issues as it's sole sponsor. There may be another group who may want to sponsor this event. We can surely guide and direct them,” added Villella.
We reached out to Villella, and she stated that she can not speak on the event because it was done by the former chamber of commerce.
