The northbound Interstate-79 off-ramp to Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in Glenfield is closed to traffic until further notice, according to PennDOT.
The overhead ramp, which connects I-79 to both northbound and southbound Route 65, was struck early Friday morning by a truck.

PennDOT officials and SAI Consulting Engineers are assessing the damage and conducting inspection and analysis activities on the structure.
In the meantime traffic is being detoured. The southbound I-79 ramp was closed to traffic Sunday morning, July 13 as crews continued inspections, but has since reopened.
PennDOT advises motorists to use caution when driving through the area.
