PennDOT is announcing a long-term lane restriction on northbound Route 65 in Freedom Borough, Beaver County, will begin Monday, July 10 weather permitting.
Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, a single-lane restriction will occur on northbound Route 65 between the Freedom off and on-ramps continuously through Thursday, August 31. A single 11-foot lane will be maintained in the northbound direction. Crews from Gulisek Construction, LLC will stage equipment in the closed lane for ramp painting operations.
This $20.21 million roadway project includes milling and resurfacing, concrete pavement patching, drainage and guiderail updates, ramp reconstruction, curb and sidewalk work, bridge and retaining wall preservation, sign structure maintenance and signal improvements. The overall project will conclude in late October 2017.
Gulisek Construction Company is the prime contractor.
