We extend this invitation to anyone who would like to learn more about the Center, and the programs offered to people in the Ambridge area community. Please use the Maplewood Avenue entrance.
The mission starts with Matthew 25: "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me".
The Center serves as the Ambridge Pantry for the Pittsburgh Food Bank, providing food every month to hundreds in our community. Through supporters kindness, the Center provides a wide range of clean clothing, available to our clients absolutely free of charge!
Generous local merchants help the Center provide a daily bread ministry to feed the hungry.
The Center is about much more than food and cloths. We provide a safe-harbor for our youth group, with programs four days a week that keep our youth off the streets, while encouraging them to be better citizens. We provide programs for our adults such as an art program, or a winter coffee hour when they can socialize in a safe, warm environment.
Visit our Open House on Thursday to learn about the many programs offered to the community!
