Children between the ages of 8 to 12 will learn how to sketch with colored pencils and create artwork using pastels. Day campers will also get a chance to see and learn about rare artwork in the historic buildings of Old Economy Village and “behind-the-scenes” in collections storage with the site curator. Old Economy interprets the history of the Harmony Society, a 19th century religious communal society.
The program fee for Friends of Old Economy Village is $56 for the first child and $51 for each additional child. The program fee for nonmembers is $70 for the first child and $65 for each additional child. Art supplies are included in the cost of the camp.
