Performers Announced for ZanaFest 2014

A complete list of performers have been announced for the sixth annual Richard Zana Music Festival. 

ZanaFest 2014 will take place indoors and outdoors Sept. 17 through Sept.  22 at The Venue at Harmony Ridge Golf Club, 1280 Breitenstein Road (Route 989).

More than 60 groups will perform virtually all genres of music this year at the five-day festival, putting ZanaFest 2014 on track to being one of the largest music festivals ever produced in the region.

ZanaFest 2014 begins on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. with a Kickoff Celebration and an Evening of Jazz. 

Thursday, Sept. 18 features an Evening of Blues, Friday Sept. 19 will be devoted to Rock and on Saturday, Sept. 21, ZanaFest begins at noon, with the afternoon featuring some of the area’s top youth performers and singer-songwriters. 

There will also be a Kid’s Jamboree tent with children’s activities, crafts, games and entertainment throughout the day. Saturday’s music features Country and Bluegrass with some of the top performers in the region. 

Sunday, Sept. 22, the Festival and Music begins at noon with children’s activities and will feature some of the top professional groups in the region from many genre’s.

ZanaFest 2014 will close at 7 p.m. with a performance by The Granati Brothers.

The anticipated attendance for ZanaFest 2014 is more than 2,500.  

Festival Passes are $25, Single Day passes are $10. Kids 12-18 $5, 6-12 $2, 5 and under are Free. 

ZanaFest is a music festival and celebration of the life and career of one of Beaver County’s most influential teachers, Richard D. Zana. It is organized by an appreciative volunteer group of former students and colleagues.  The mission of ZanaFest is to support the Richard D. Zana Memorial Fund, of the Beaver County Foundation, a 501c3 community foundation. The purpose of the fund is to provide music scholarships for talented area students and to benefit cancer research.
