The project is funded by Act 89, the state’s new transportation legislation, and part of a $3.19 million contract to resurface two roadways in Beaver County. Baden's work includes milling and resurfacing, base repairs, drainage improvements, guide rail and manhole work, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
PennDOT is also scheduled to do the following road maintenance work in the area this week:
- Base repair in Economy and New Sewickley on Wallrose Heights Road and Golden Grove Road
- Patching on Bock Lane and Bradford Park Road
- Sweeping on Route 65 from the Allegheny County line through various communities and on Golden Grove Road in Economy from Lovi Road to Conway Wallrose.
