Ambridge police are looking for a man who robbed the BP gas station Wednesday night on Merchant Street.
Around 7:08 p.m., Ambridge police report that a man walked into the gas station and to the back of the store, where he surprised a clerk coming out of a back office.

"He pushed the clerk forward and stuck a gun in his face,” Ambridge Police Lt. Brian Jameson told the news station, adding that the robber took an undisclosed amount of money and two registers.
The clerk suffered some chest discomfort but refused treatment.
The robbery suspect is described as a white male between 5-feet-5-inches and 5-feet-7-inches with a thinner build, wearing a heavy brown coat with a fur-lined collar. He also had a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering and was wearing grey sweatpants.
