Local Patrolman Alan Loskoch received the DUI Top Gun Award during the November Harmony Township Commissioner Meeting.
Kathy Tress, a local representative of the Pennsylvania DUI Association, presented the statewide honor to Loskoch.
Harmony Police Chief Robert Sivewright said " It's an honor to be recognized by the state for our departments efforts."
"Officer Loskock has shown his dedication to the community and his job."
Loskoch was to be given the award October 29 at the Pennsylvania DUI Association’s 36 annual conference in State College. However, was unable to attend because he was shot in the line of duty the morning before.
Police Officers from Harmony, Baden, and Conway all came to the meeting to congratulate Loskoch.
