U.S. Rep Keith Rothfus invites local veterans and constituents to a ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 6 at the Irvine Park (Gazebo Park) World War II Memorial in Beaver.
June 6, 2014 marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
Rothfus, R-Sewickley, will recognize all World War II veterans in attendance.
RSVPs are not necessary. World War II veterans who plan to attend are asked to call Rothfus' Beaver office at 724-359-1626 or email [email protected].
Rothfus' staff will be on hand and available to assist veterans who need assistance.
