U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus is inviting constituents to end-of-the-year open houses at the Beaver, Ross Township and Johnstown district offices.
Locals are encouraged to stop by the Beaver office from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at 250 Insurance St., Suite 203, to enjoy refreshments and chat, write Christmas cards for local veterans, share thoughts on legislation or get help with federal agencies.
Anyone unable to attend the open houses, but who would like to send a card to a veteran, can stop by any of the district offices to write one or drop one off during business hours next week. Rothfus, who represents the Ambridge area, plans to personally deliver the cards to veterans at the H.J. Heinz VA Hospital.
Other end of the year open houses will take place in Johnstown on Tuesday, Dec. 17 and Ross on Friday, Dec. 20.
