PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 65 (Ohio River
Boulevard) in Freedom Borough, Beaver County will occur Monday-Friday,
March 6-10 weather permitting.
Inspection activities will occur on the Route 65 on and off-ramps at the
Freedom interchange. Single-lane restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. in the following locations:
• Monday, March 6 – Right lane of southbound Route 65 under the ramp from
southbound Route 65 to 3rd Avenue
• Tuesday, March 7 – Right lane of northbound Route 65 under the ramp from
southbound Route 65 to 3rd Avenue
• Wednesday, March 8 – Left lanes in each direction on Route 65 under the
ramp from southbound Route 65 to 3rd Avenue
• Thursday, March 9 – Right lane of northbound Route 65 under the ramp from
3rd Avenue to southbound Route 65
• Friday, March 10 – Left lanes in each direction on Route 65 under the
ramp from 3rd Avenue to southbound Route 65
Crews from SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. will conduct routine bridge
inspection activities.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use
caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s
responsibility.
