The Ambridge school board is moving forward with a study to identify the scope of work necessary to repair the junior high school.
advertisement The board unanimously approved having Schneider Electric perform an ESCO, or energy savings, study to identify options, including estimates and potential cost savings.
David Kramer, representative, gave the board a presentation on Wednesday outlining the potential schedule should the board decide to move ahead with work to repair the boiler system and conduct other needed upgrades at the junior high school.
The goal is to set the junior high building up for long-term success with an installed and operational system for the heating season.
Next month, the board is scheduled to receive an update with scope options.
