Ambridge Area School Board has launched an investigation into a personnel matter.
The board ratified the appointment of Mariah Passarelli, esquire, and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC to provide investigative services to the district for a personnel matter.
Passarelli is a practiced litigator who focuses her practice on a variety of labor and employment law matters, from employment contracts to complex litigation, according to her online profile.
Solicitor Hobart Webster of Weiss, Burkhart Kramer LLC, said he could not elaborate on the specifics regarding the investigation, which he said is in the early stages.
"The district takes every complaint seriously, whether it's about personnel, the public or the district."
