The merchants in Ambridge are coming together to start Second Saturday Sidewalk Sales.
Each business in Ambridge is encouraged to participate by opening doors and putting out tables with merchandise for sale between the hours 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
"I really wanted to organize something that we, as business owners, could do without a sizable investment, which would allow everyone to participate. said Lorianne Stangl Burgess organizer and owner of Stangl's Bakery.
The Side Walk Sale is scheduled to take place the second Saturday of every month starting April 11.
Stangl said that "everyone is invited to welcome the spring weather, and stir up some renewed interest in their local, downtown business community. "
