Sen. Elder Vogel Citizens to Protect the Ambridge Reservoir will have a discussion tonight with Senator Elder Vogel.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 20 at Church of the Savior, 420 Maplewood Drive, Ambridge.

advertisement According to CPAR, the meeting is about protecting the Ambridge reservoir from industrialization of natural gas fracking.
Vogel is a member of the Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee.
CPAR will be giving Vogel, R-New Sewickley, petitions to Protect the Ambridge Reservoir with more than 4,500 signatures. The group will also be giving Vogel letters that residents signed asking him to take a stand to protect the reservoir as Sen. Joe Scarnati R-Brockway, recently did to protect his reservoir in Jefferson County -- the Brockway Borough Municipal Authority Rattlesnake Reservoir.
