ABE In-house soccer registration closes this month on 8/21. If you have not yet or know someone that would like to register, please do so soon. The cost for registration is $65, if a jersey is needed, it can be purchased for an additional $25.
Matches are tentatively scheduled to start on 9/10 and will end on 10/30. In-house matches occur on Saturdays.
PA West, our Club's governing body has adopted the calendar year method for grouping players in each Division. This translates to your child's birth year, not birth date, to determine which Division he/she will play in.
The ages for each Division are as follows:
U6 - 4 & 5 yrs. old (2011 & 2012 birth yr.)
U8 - 6 & 7 yrs. old (2009 & 2010 birth yr.)
U10 - 8 & 9 yrs. old (2007 & 2008 birth yr.)
U12 - 10 & 11 yrs. old (2005 & 2006 birth yr.)
U14 - 12 & 13 yrs. old (2003 & 2004 birth yr.)
U16 - 14 & 15 yrs. old (2001 & 2002 birth yr.)
Example: This is the 2016 calendar year, a child's birth date is March 26, 2006. 2016-2006=10yrs. old, thus U12 Division.
Due to this mid-year change, some players will be moving up a Division from which the played in the Spring Session. As a result of 4 year olds moving up to the U6 Division, ABE Soccer Association has decided to discontinue the Little Kickers program until further notice.
ABE Soccer would not exist without volunteers. Please consider helping out as you register your child. A little time invested goes a long way. Registration as volunteer is free, but clearances are required. You may already have the required clearances if you help with your child's school.
Volunteers must provide the following:
PA State Police Criminal Record Check, cost is about $8 and can be obtained online from the State Police website Click Here.
PA Child Abuse History Clearance, cost is about $8 and can be obtained online from the PA Child Welfare Portal Click Here.
For PA residents of at least 10 years - Volunteer Affidavit, complete and notarized. See Dorothy Gnarra, Mention that its for ABE Soccer and she will wave the notary fee.
For PA residents less than 10 years - FBI Criminal Background Check, cost about $27.50 and can be obtained online through Cogent applicant processing services Click Here.
