Sprint time is here, time to get outside and have some fun locally.   If we missed listing your event please submit here.

1.  Big Dog 5k  Walk and Run, a senior project of Bethany Hartman and Hale Rogers, to honor Tim "Big Dog" Rakovan and other affected by Huntington's Disease.
Where: Old Economy Village 
When:  April 28, registration  8 am , Run 9 am , Walk 10 am 
Cost: $15 

2. Rain or Shine Fun Day with Western PA Soap Box Derby for those who are interested in racing will have  a hands-on opportunity to learn on Saturday in Ambridge.  Riders will get a chance to ride a real soap box derby car and gather information about th up coming local race on June 9th. 
Where:  14th  Street at Duss Avenue in Ambridge
When: April 28, 9 am to 2 pm 
Cost: Free to kids 7 to 17, $5 for adults ​

3. Join the Great American Clean up PA with the  Committee to clean and Beautify Ambridge  for the Community Spring Clean- up and Tree Planting  and Garden tending . Gloves and Bags will be provided. 
Where:  Falcons Lodge, 529 8th St., Ambridge, PA 15005
When: Sign up start at 9:30 am  and clean up at 10 am 
Cost: Free 
Bonus : Community Dumpster available for community use at the Ambridge Borough Building from April 26 to May 3rd or until filled.  Do not put in dumpster batteries, paint, ties, electronics, tvs and appliances   

4, Watch Local MMA fighter Chris Dempsey  in the Fight  to Win Pro72  at   Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena

When: April 28 , 6 pm
Cost: $40 and up

5. The 2nd annual Spring Home and Garden Show  co sponsored by Ambridge Do It Best and Ambridge Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Ambridge Do It Best will showcase their Rentals.  Over 18 booths will set up booths and showcase their local businesses.  The vendor line up offers a variety of contractors, gardeners, suppliers, and local organizations.  Children can enjoy free activities and an opportunity to jump in the bounce house.

Cost: Free to attend

6. Harmony Township VFD will hold a Spring Craft show with lots of home made items to remind everyone to shop for Mother's Day early. 
Where: 2400 Beaver Rd,  Ambridge, PA 15005
When:  April 28, 10 am to 4 pm 
Cost: Free to attend

7. Free Scholarship  and Financial Workshop will be held at CCBC . Learn more at www.BuildwithBooks.com

8.  Ambridge Track and Field Team Bowl-A -Thon at Fire Oaks Bowling Alley . Open to all ages.  Funds raised will benefit Ambridge Track and Field Team.
Where:  660 Ambridge Ave. , Fair Oaks, Pa 15003
When: April 29 , 2 pm to 4 pm 
Cost: $13  all you can bowl , includes shoe rental 
Bonus: Food, Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle , and bake sale

9.  Photography Showcase at Old Economy Village  will exhibit  Dillon Murphy and other local photographers art. Light refreshment will be served.

10.  Girls Gone Shopping Spring Show a portion of sales will benefit  Beaver County Pathways, a counseling and wellness center in Ambridge. 
Where: Center Stage in Monaca, PA 
When: April 29, 10 am to 4 pm 
Cost : Free to enter

11.  Enjoy a Sunday fun day at Serenity " A Gist Catering Joint"  with dinner specials,  music by DJ Stormin Normin, and a Minority Vendor Showcase 
Where: 303 14th and Merchant, Ambridge, PA 
When:  April 29, 4 pm to 9 pm
