On Saturday a Night at the Races fundraiser will be held for an Ambridge-based nonprofit called Stay Off the Streets that provides a boxing program for youth.
Organizers invite all down for "a fun filled evening of racing!"
"Try your luck at picking the winning horse, play a few hands of poker, or take a chance on one of many raffle opportunities."
Each ticket purchase includes full course meal , unlimited beer, and other drinks. Liquor will be available at the cash bar. All proceeds benefit registered 501c3 non profit organization, Stay Off the Streets, founded by World Class Boxing's Tom Yankello.
Stay off the Streets mission is to combat rising youth crime and community deterioration through a gym that is open year round by developing a pro-social value system, promoting youth recreation activities, teaching youth about proper nutrition and fitness, and establishing and fostering positive relationships between the youths and community.

In 2010 Stay Off the Streets was awarded a $25,000 grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project, a nationwide competition that funds ideas that will have a positive impact on communities.
