Ambridge plans to resume street sweeping on Monday morning, June 15 following the regular 2015 calendar.
The borough received a street sweeper on loan Tuesday from A & H Equipment Co. at no cost while the borough-owned sweeper is out of commission, awaiting repairs.

“We’re just treating it like the first week of street sweeping, just because there’s been a lapse,” said Ambridge Manager Joe Kauer.
The borough is still waiting for cost estimates because some parts are being shopped around for the repairs.
Residents are reminded to move their vehicles to avoid violations during the posted hours.
