On Saturday, several families and friends gathered at Laughlin Memorial Library in Ambridge to enjoy some bonding time over crafts.

This year, the library offered a free crafting session for children and their caregivers, which included making beaded necklaces, painting gift boxes and creating special cards and bags. The afternoon ended with a snack for the children.
On March 8, the library will celebrate Dr. Suess's 100th birthday with stories, games and activities. The free event begins at 10 a.m. and is for children 8 and under with a caregiver. Registration is required by calling 724-266-3857 or by visiting the library.
