This Saturday, Laughlin Memorial Library in Ambridge will host their annual fundraiser, Taste of Autumn.
“The Taste of Autumn is the primary fundraiser for our Library" shared board member Terry Mylan. She noted that they are significantly behind in our funding for the year.
The library provides a space for learning, reading , and internet access at no cost. It offers programming for little or no cost to the community.
"Even with decreased funds, the staff continues to provide new programs and services at all levels" added Mylan. "Community support is critical for our programs to continue and the success of this event will impact the Library’s offerings to the community. "
The evening includes entertainment, raffles, bottomless glass of wine, gourmet food, and Pittsburgh wedding style-style cookie table.
