The Ambridge Eagles is hosting the Ambridge Eagles Wing Cook-Off on Sunday, Aug. 7.
The competition will be located on Fourth Street between Maplewood Avenue and Park Road, and runs from 1 to 6 p.m.
The 2014 wing cook off brought in nearly 1,800 people, who came to sample the wings.
Participants this year include Firehouse Lounge, Hollywood Cafe Sports Bar & Grill, Bridgetown Taphouse, Scoot's Bar and Grill, Tommy's Catering, Nelia's Smokehouse, The Hangar, Grama's Kitchen, and amateur competitors Chas Mooney, Andrew Scott, and the McCall Brothers.
During the festival, there will be live music. "Three amazing bands will provide the entertainment for the day - Fine Line, County Crew & Dream Machine." shared Allie Mooney in a facebook post . Other activities are taking place prior to the event as a kick off to lead up to the competition. Mooney added that the " event benefits diabetes charities."
